Your hosts in Chapamama’s traditional setting are Adrian, Karine, their children Noa and Mae, Joshi the dog, Harry the cat, the chickens and a selection of other wild and domestic creatures with more on the way. After a nomadic life in the air and on the water, Adrian and Karine, have come back to their country roots, settled now in the wild nature of the Bauges. Adrian is a technology and design teacher by day, and a passionate beekeeper, bush-crafter and outdoor enthusiast at home.  Karine nurtures her love of the service industry, culinary experimentation and the desire to develop sustainably derived food from the land.

Chapamama is a return to nature where dreams and goals can be realised. Our purpose is to learn and to share that knowledge and experience, and the simple joy of living. We are finally here, ready and excited to welcome you as your ideas take flight in this special place.
